Abstract

This thesis examines the adaptation of Montessori didactic materials to the national-cultural context of Uzbekistan while preserving the core principles of the method. The analysis is based on official preschool education statistics and recent international literature. Four material groups are emphasized—practical life, language, culture and counting—and the principle “Montessori principles are preserved, while language, images and everyday content are localized” is proposed. The model aims to increase cultural relevance without changing the prepared environment, self-correction or isolation principle.
